Ruth Zappe - Founding Administrator

San Tan Christian Academy started out as a dream and in God’s perfect timing it is becoming a reality. San Tan Christian Academy has found a home on the Chandler Christian School’s campus as they begin their journey. There is a tremendous need in Chandler for a Christian Middle School.

I was delighted and honored to accept the position as the Founding Administrator at San Tan Christian Academy.  In my thirty plus years in Christian Education I have worked with middle school students for a large portion of those years. I served as the Elementary Principal at Christian Central Academy (K-8) in New York prior to my move to Arizona.  I taught Junior High and was the Assistant Administrator at Grace Community Christian School in Tempe for 27 years prior to 2008 when I accepted the position as the Administrator at Chandler Christian School. In 1976 I graduated from the University of Western Ontario, Canada with a Bachelor of Arts degree after which I moved to Arizona and took a fifth year at Grand Canyon University. I have been an active member and am certified as a Principal by the Association of Christians School International.

I am married to Dale and we have one daughter, Meghan, who graduated from Valley Christian High School in May 2008. Meghan is attending college and pursuing a career in Elementary Education.
